Hull Repair, Paint, and Side Varnish
1 Any damage or rot is removed and repaired prior to painting the hull. 2 After woodwork is complete, old paint is stripped and the hull is sanded. 3 Holes and seams are filled and double checked to ensure thy are water tight, then sealer is applied. 4 The sealer is scuff sanded before the first coat of paint is applied. Sides are sanded for varnishing. 5 Multiple coats of paint are applied to produce a smoothly finished bottom and crisp water line. Varnish is completed in the varnish room to produce a glossy finish. |
